Taking inspiration from their archive 1905 catalogue, the Mechanics Jacket was designed to be hard wearing and durable.

It has a quirky high curved chest pocket, which is mirrored on the other side as an inside pocket, profile stitched to the front. With french seams and herring bone tape internals it is designed to last a lifetime. The Mechanics jacket is cut from a slightly heavier cotton twill and is made in a brighter navy. In the archives this colour was referred to as Bluette.
